Flurbiprofen .03% Ophthalmic Solution 2.5ml pvl, is an anti-inflammatory, non-steroidal, sterile solution for ophthalmic usage.
WHAT THIS PRODUCT CURES
Flurbiprofen .03% Ophthalmic Solution 2.5ml pvl, is used to cure symptoms from Uveitis in cats and dogs.
Eye inflammation or Anterior Uveititis means just that, inflammation of the front portion of the uvea. The Uvea is the dark colored tissue containing blood vessels located in the anterior portion of the eye. This condition can affect a dog’s vision by the inflammation around the iris
Common symptoms and signs displayed by the affected dog includes; pain, redness of the eye, excessive tear production, discharge, squinting, unusually shaped pupil appearance, swelling of the eye, clouding of the front portion of the eye, and iris color may change to an unordinary color. Any or all of these symptoms should be addressed and reported to a veterinarian for immediate treatment as to prevent vision impairment.
Anterior Uveititis can be caused by a number of underlying problems such as; autoimmune disease, a variety of tumors and cancers, trauma or injury to the head or eye, metabolic diseases, lens protein entering the fluid of the eye, and a variety of infections. Infectionous causing agents linked to the cause of Anterior Uveititis are; Parasites, fungi, bacteria, toxoplasmosis (a multi-system parasitic disease) or Rickettsia (a parasitic disease found through vectors of many ticks, fleas, and lice). Common viruses are also a leading cause of Anterior Uveititis. The canine herpes virus, canine distemper virus, and canine adenovirus-1 are all infections of this condition.

Do not share medication.
PET: Keep pets away from bright light during treatment. Avoid ingestion as pet will salivate excessively. Stop use if pet experiences urinating difficulties, abnormal heart rate, vomiting, or constipation.
HUMANS: Do not use in humans without medical prescription. Medications prescribed for animals should never be shared for human use.
Storage and disposal
Storage: Store product ointment at room temperature, away from heat and light.

How it Works
The active ingredient, Flurbiprofen sodium, blocks the circular pupillary sphincter muscle. This ingredient also helps to reduce pain and inflammation by paralyzing the ciliary muscles within the eye’s structures.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Cleanse hands with water and soap before application.
Using index finger and thumb hold eyelids open.
Without touching applicator tip to eye surface, administer drops.
After each drop allow eyelids to be closed to allow distribution of product.
Wipe end of applicator off before placing cap.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Dogs & Cats:
Mild to moderate eye inflammation administer ointment 1 to 3 times a day.
Exact dosage varies from patient to patient.
