How it Works

Advantage II has a two step termination process, using both active ingredients of Imidacloprid and Pyriproxyfen. First, Imidacloprid paralyses and kills the adult biting fleas/lice. Secondly, Pyriproxyfen prevents hatching of the flea and lice larvae, therefore, terminating the problem.

  1. Remove tube from package.
  2. Use succors to cut off the tip of applicator.
  3. Locate application site between the shoulder blades of dog.
  4. Split hair down the middle until skin is visible.
  5. Place tip of applicator directly on skin and squeeze.

Note: it is not necessary to apply treatment anywhere other than between shoulder blades. Natural skin oils on the dog will spread product.

Application works best if you do not bathe your pet before or after treatment.

Treat every four weeks.
