How IVERHART MAX works:
IVERHART MAX eliminate the tissue stage of the heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis) for a month after infection.

What is IVERHART MAX:
IVERHART MAX Is a combination of ivermectin, pyrantel pamoate, and praziquantel presented in a flavored chewable recommended for the prevention of heartworm disease in dogs, and for the treatment and control of hookworms, roundworms and tapeworms also in dogs.
What I need to know about IVERHART MAX:
Before you start using IVERHART MAX, your dog should be tested for existing heartworm infection. In he case your dog is infected with heartworms, adult heartworms must be removed before you start prevention treatment with IVERHART MAX.
What I need to tell and ask my veterinarian if IVERHART MAX is prescribe to my dog:
If your veterinarian prescribe IVERHART MAX to your dog, comment with your veterinarian about any negative reaction your dog may have to Ivermectin. Also make sure if your dog live in the outdoor and is expose to mosquitoes, get tested for heartworms.
Indications for this drug:
Follow strictly the indications as your veterinarian gives on your prescription. IVERHART MAX is indicated to prevent canine heartworm disease, for the control of hookworms, roundworms and tapeworms. The recommended dosage of IVERHART MAX is 6 mcg of ivermectin per kilogram (2.72 mcg/lb), 5 mg of pyrantel (as pamoate salt) per kg (2.27 mg/lb) and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg (2.27 mg/lb) of your dog body weight orally every 30 days.
What I should do if 1 dose is skipped:
Continue with the following dose, do not give two doses at once.
What I should do if my pet suffer an overdose:
Call or Visit your nearest veterinary emergency center immediately.
During the treatment:
Call your veterinarian about any other medication you may want to give to your dog. Keep your dog hydrated, Store IVERHART MAX at room temperature, between 59°-86° F (15°-30° C).
Side Effects of IVERHART MAX:
Your dog may experience vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of dosing, depression/lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, ataxia, staggering, convulsions and hypersalivation.
