PET SYMPTOMS
Pets are often confronted with situations they have never been trained to handle; adaptability, coping with difficult situations or social interactions are new to some pets.

Separation anxiety is  the number on problem to pets which have not been properly socialized or have become to rely fully on their owners. When a pet owner leaves the home for a short period of time the pet will become overly anxious and nervous. He or she may become destructive, tearing up the house or door in attempts to settle his/her nerves. Neighbors may also notice this behavior as the pet may bark excessively or whine.

Pets become depressed due to several underlying reasons, yet most symptoms of depression reflex their owner’s depression. A pet owner, who has begun to grieve over a lost member of the family, will reflex the behavior in the pet. Although the pet not fully understand what has happened, he will pick up on the fact his owner is sad and no longer presenting him with attention. Grievances not only partake in the human world, a pet which has lost his companion will display a period of mourning. Pets which have lived together a long time miss their companions when they pass, just as people do. Pets which are depressed tend to keep their distance from humans. Pets may find a place to hide, stop eating, and resist from physical activities. In most cases the state of depression will lift once the pet has adapted to the new change, however, some pets need assistance to recover.
