What is COMFORTIS:

COMFORTIS is an oral beef flavored chewable tablet available in five sizes for dogs and four sizes for cats. COMFORTIS kill flea on your dog or cat and prevent flea infestations.
What I need to know about COMFORTIS:
Is an oral beef flavored chewable tablet indicated for the control of Fleas on dogs and puppies 14 weeks of age and older and 3.3 pounds of body weight or greater, cat and Kittens 14 weeks of age and older weighting 2 pounds or greater. If your cat weight more than 24 pounds or your dog weight more than 120, accurate combination of tablets have to be use. Administer COMFORTIS to your dog or cat with food for maximum effectiveness. COMFORTIS should be administered to your dog or cat in a monthly dosing schedule. COMFORTIS will kill fleas on your cat 30 minutes after administration.
What I need to tell and ask my veterinarian if COMFORTIS is prescribe to my dog or cat:
If your veterinarian prescribe COMFORTIS to your dog or cat, comment any allergy or reaction the dog or cat may have to spinosad or any other medication. Advice your Veterinarian if during treatment your dog or cat have symptoms of vomiting, lethargy, anorexia, weight loss or diarrhea.
Indications for this drug:
Follow strictly the indications as your veterinarian gives on your prescription. COMFORTIS is indicated for dogs and cats for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations for one full month.
What I should do if 1 dose is skipped:
Continue with the following dose, do not give two doses at once.
What I should do if my pet suffer an overdose:
Call or Visit your nearest veterinary emergency center immediately.
During the trealtment:
Call your veterinarian about any other flea preventative medication you may want to give to your cat. Store COMFORTIS at room temperature, between 59Â°-86Â° F (15Â°-30Â° C).
Side Effects of COMFORTIS:
Your cat may experience vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite. If during the treatment you have additional questions or concerns about your pet and COMFORTIS please contact your veterinarian or pharmacist and they will assist you with the accurate answer.
