WHAT THIS PRODUCT CURES
CET Chorhex 0.12% rinse is used to flush dental cavity after dental cleaning. Main purpose is to cleanse mouth and prevent infection.
Periodontal disease, Halitosis, tooth loss, and oral pain are all symptoms which follow poor health care in pets. The mouth is filled with a combination of minerals, saliva, and bacteria to aid in digestion of food. As these elements aid in food breakdown, it also aids in tarter buildup. Tarter is a calcified build up which attached to teeth and gums. Bacteria feed on this tarter build up, irritating gums, and eating away at the teeth. The molars are extremely sensitive for problems due to the location of the saliva duct just above the tooth.
Many pet owners do not consider what an important role the teeth play in the mouth of a pet. Infected, broken, or rotted teeth can lead to problems in eating habits, aggression, or infections to other areas of the body. One of the most common ways an owner prevents oral problems is with annual teeth cleanings at the veterinarian’s clinic. The owner themselves can also practice oral care methods at home. Owners can manually brush the pet’s teeth on your own. There are formulated brushes and meaty flavored tooth pastes that are available to buy at local veterinarian or pet supply stores.
Dental hygiene is not only important in the human world but in our pets as well. Pets which lack dental care are prone to tooth infections, bad breath, and periodontal disease, bone degeneration, heart and kidney infections.
