Baytril Otic is used to treat outer ear infections in dogs. Unlike oil or petroleum-based products, Baytril Otic is water-based which helps to sooth inflamed ears. Baytril requires a prescription from your veterinarian.

For: Dogs
• First topical solution approved by the FDA for canine otitis externa
• Water-based emulsion soothes infected ears
• Two powerful ingredients (enrofloxacin and silver sulfadiazine) kill bacteria and fungus

Baytril Otic works to treat ear infections with the use of two ingredients enrofloxacin and silver sulfadiazine. Enrofloxacin has quick bacteria-killing properties and silver sulfadiazine is an ingredient which kills fungal microogranisms most commonly associated with canine otitis externa (ear infections).

Cautions:
The safe use of Baytril Otic in dogs for breeding purposes, during pregnancy, or in lactating bitches, has not been evaluated.

Just after 24 hours treatment I could see the difference. Juny's otitis dissapear after 3 days, bisides I keep using it as indicated by my vet. It is a very potent antibiotic. Thank you very much...

Nothing like Baytril Otic for your dog ear. I have a Spaniel and unfortunately he has this condition and every now and then he present this otitis. We always use Baytril Otic and it works pretty well. I cn surely recommend it.
