ADVANTAGE II your Dog and Cat:

ADVANTAGE ll (Imidacloprid 9.10% + Pyriproxyfen 0.46%) this topical solution packaged in single dose applicator tube is indicated for the prevention of fleas, and chewing lice Infestations on Dogs 7 weeks of age and older and prevention and Treatment of Flea Infestations on Cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older.

Advantage of ADVANTAGE II:

One single tube of ADVANTAGE II treat multiple parasite. ADVANTAGE II kills flea and chewing lice on any stages of it's life cycle within 12 hours of application. Prevents fleas and chewing lice on treated dogs and cats from infesting your home for a month. ADVANTAGE II is waterproof and Fragrance-free. ADVANTAGE II is safe for puppies 7 weeks of age and older and kittens 9 weeks of age and older.

How ADVANTAGE II works:

ADVANTAGE II is composed by the combination of imidacloprid and Pyriproxyfen, imidacloprid cause the paralysis and death of the fleas, and Pyriproxyfen prevent larvae from developing into adult fleas and chewing lice.

Cautions:

Please consult your veterinarian or pharmacist before your dog or cat takes any other Prescription, Over-the-counter, vitamins or Herbal Medications.

What is ADVANTAGE II:

Is a topical solution packaged in single dose applicator for use in dogs and cats. ADVANTAGE II is designed to provide a minimum dose of imidacloprid and Pyriproxyfen based on your dog or cat body weight to treat and prevent fleas, flea infestations, and chewing lice.

What I need to know about ADVANTAGE II:

Is a topical solution, do not administer ADVANTAGE II orally. Do not let ADVANTAGE II get in your dog or cat mouth or eyes.For the first 30 minutes after apply ADVANTAGE II ensure your dog or cat cannot lick the product from application sites on themselves or other treated dog or cat, and Separate your dog or cat from one another and from other pets to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion. Ingestion of ADVANTAGE II by dog or cat may cause adverse reactions to your dog or cat. Use ADVANTAGE II with caution in sick, debilitated, or underweight dogs. You can shampoo your dog or cat 2 hours after treatment this will not reduce the effectiveness of ADVANTAGE II in the treatment of flea infestations. Your dog or cat can swim or be expose to rain or sunlight this will not reduce the effectiveness of ADVANTAGE II.

What I need to tell and ask my veterinarian if ADVANTAGE II is prescribe to my dog or cat:

Before your veterinarian recommend ADVANTAGE II to your dog or cat, comment about your dog or cat maybe pregnant, if it's lactating newborn puppies. Also comment with your vet about your dog or cat pass and possible allergy to any ADVANTAGE II ingredients imidacloprid, or Pyriproxyfen.

Indications for this drug:

Follow strictly the indications to follow on your ADVANTAGE II label. Being careful not to cut close to the blister cavities, take scissors and cut off one section of the card containing a single tube. Take the separated section, and cut into the blister cavity across the small side, close to the cap of the tube. Peel off the foil, and take out the tube. HOW TO APPLY Remove one applicator tube from the package. See “HOW TO OPEN” section. Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube. Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube. Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube. 10 lbs. and under and dogs11-20 lbs.:The dog should be standing for easy application. Part the hair on the dog’s back, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube to expel the entire contents directly on the skin. Dogs 21-55 lbs. and Over 55 lbs: The dog should be standing for easy application. Part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a portion of the solution on the skin. Apply the entire contents of the tube evenly to three or four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog. Cats: Part the hair on the neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube. Do not get this product in your cat’s eyes or mouth. The product is bitter tasting and salivation may occur for a short time if the cat licks the product immediately after treatment. Treatment at the base of the skull will minimize the opportunity for the cat to lick the product. Discard empty tube as described in Storage and Disposal. Under normal conditions the product is effective for a month. However, in case of severe flea infestation, retreatment may be necessary earlier than four weeks. Do not retreat more often than once every seven (7) days. After flea control is obtained, return to a monthly retreatment schedule.

What I should do if 1 dose is skipped:

Continue with the following dose, do not give two doses at once.

What I should do if my pet suffer an overdose:

Call or Visit your nearest veterinary emergency center immediately.

During the trealtment:

Call your veterinarian about any other medication you may want to give to your dog or cat. For the first 30 minutes after application keep your treated dog or cat separate from other pets to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion. Store ADVANTAGE II at room temperature, between 59-86 F (15-30 C).

Side Effects of ADVANTAGE II:

Contact your veterinarian if your dog or cat experience any adverse reaction to ADVANTAGE II. If during the treatment you have additional questions or concerns about your dog or cat and ADVANTAGE II please contact your veterinarian or pharmacist and they will assist you with the accurate answer.


DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Before start using Advantage II always read the “HOW TO OPEN” section on the product label and follow this pictures we ilustrate for you.

Application in Cats:

Part the hair on the neck at the base of the skull and squeeze the tube to expel the entire contents of the tube directly on the cat skin.

 

Application in Dogs:

If your dog weights between 1-20 pounds part the hair on your dog back, between the shoulder blades, with the skin is visible squeeze the tube to expel the entire contents directly on the skin.

If your dog weight is 21 pounds and over part the hair until the skin is visible, place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel  the solution to three or four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog.

For dogs 10 LBS. and Under.:

Advantage II is effective for a month. Do not retreat more often than once every fourteen (14) days in the case of flea infestation.

This works perfectly, control the fleas and is very easy to use, my cat doesn't even notice that I am appliying it. Good stuff !

When I used Advantage for Cat, it stars killing adult fleas within an hour and after 12 hours they are all killed. It is a very affective product.
