DESCRIPTION:
Absorbine Liniment helps your horse through temporary muscle soreness, stiffness, or swelling caused by exposure, overwork, or exertion. Topical Antiseptic is the world's number one selling horse liniment. The soothing antiseptic blend of natural herbs and oils contains menthol and a blend of herbal extracts including calendula, echinacea, and wormwood. This effective liniment has many uses: use as a rub for tendinitis, dilute with water for a soothing body wash, smooth on as a leg tightener, or dab onto minor cuts, abrasions, and insect bites.
INGREDIENT(S):
Menthol 1.27%, Chloroxylenol 0.50%, Iodine 0.02%. Also contains plant extracts of Calendula, Echinacea and Wormwood; Acetone, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Potassium Iodide, Thymol, Wormwood Oil and Water.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTION:
Keep out of the reach of children. Replace cap firmly. For external use on livestock only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not apply to irritated skin. If excessive irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. In long standing cases or those not responding to treatment, or in case of puncture or deep wounds, consult a veterinarian. If you rub - don't wrap!

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Legs & Joints: For fast relief of temporary muscular and joint soreness, swelling and stiffness, apply Absorbine Veterinary Liniment (AVL) to sore areas. May be applied two or more times a day.
Arthritis: Deep penetrating heat soothes the pain and swelling of tissues due to arthritis. Rub AVL on stiff and sore joints before and after turn out to increase pain relief.
Muscle Soreness: To relieve pain and stiffness, apply AVL to desired areas and cover with blanket. May be repeated two or more times a day as needed.
Body Wash: AVL cooling body wash refreshes a tired horse. AVL astringents wash away sweat and dirt. AVL's antimicrobial formula disinfects. Herbal oils shine the coat. Recipe: mix 4 oz. of AVL and 8 oz. vinegar with 24 oz. of water.
